Cancellation Policy

Incidental Hold

Upon check-in we require a credit card and matching photo ID be presented. We will authorize the credit card presented at check-in for the full amount of your reservation as well as a $100.00 incidental hold.

Guests must be 18 years old or older to check-in. Operational procedures in regards to OAC access, housekeeping, room service, amenities, and check-in time are subject to change without notice due to our COVID-19 response measures. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. 

Additional Information - Parking, Club Access, & More

All of our guest rooms are designed to accommodate two people. If you wish to have extra guests in your room, please let the front desk know so we can provide the necessary linens. There will be an additional fee of $25 for each extra person. Please note that minors are the responsibility of the accompanying adult and should not be left unattended in the rooms.

A penalty fee of $250 will be charged for smoking on the property. Pets are allowed only in the lobby and the outdoor area of our rooftop lookout. Non-compliance will incur a $500 penalty fee.



The Olympic Athletic Club is open for guests from 5 AM to 11 PM Monday through Friday, and from 6 AM to 9 PM on Saturdays and Sundays.

Access to the Olympic Athletic Club pools is currently available by reservation only.

Guests of Hotel Ballard have parking options that include our on-site underground garage or nearby surface lots for oversized vehicles. Parking is $25.00 USD per night unless included in a promotion or travel perk. For your convenience, please arrive at our loading zone in front of Hotel Ballard’s main entrance to collect your parking pass and garage entry instructions. The main entrance is located at 5216 Ballard Avenue NW, Seattle, WA 98107.

Please note that the Olympic Rooftop Pavilion is situated on the 5th floor, next to our Courtyard suites. Events may be held in the pavilion during your stay, so we encourage you to contact the front desk before your visit to inquire about scheduled events or to request a room away from the event space.

In the case of a force majeure, the performance of this agreement by either party may be affected by acts of God, government actions, disasters, strikes, civil disturbances, or other emergencies that make it illegal or impossible to provide the facilities or services for this reservation. This agreement may be terminated by written notice from either party without liability due to such reasons.

In the rare event that the Hotel cannot accommodate a guaranteed reservation, the Hotel will provide:

• Accommodations at a comparable hotel as close as possible at no charge for the first night the guest is displaced.
• One complimentary round trip ground transportation between the Hotel and the alternate hotel for each day the guest is displaced.
• An offer to relocate the displaced guest back to the first available room.

If a room becomes available and the guest chooses not to return to the Hotel, the Hotel will have no further obligations under this clause.
