Cancellation Policy

Incidental Hold

At check-in, we ask that you provide a credit card along with a matching photo ID. We will authorize the credit card for the total amount of your reservation, in addition to a $100.00 incidental hold.

For any requests regarding early check-in or late check-out, please reach out to the front desk.

Guests must be at least 21 years old to check in.

Additional Information - Parking, Club Access, & More

All guest rooms are designed to accommodate two individuals. Should you wish to have additional guests in your room, please inform the front desk, and we will provide the necessary linens. An additional fee of $25 will apply for each extra person. Please be advised that minors are the responsibility of the accompanying adult and should not be left unattended in the rooms.

A penalty fee of $250 will be imposed for smoking on the property.

No pets allowed; non-compliance will result in a penalty fee of $500.

The Olympic Athletic Club is accessible to guests from 5 AM to 11 PM, Monday through Friday, and from 6 AM to 9 PM on Saturdays and Sundays. Currently, access to the Olympic Athletic Club pools is available by reservation only.

Guests of Hotel Ballard have parking options, including our on-site underground garage or nearby surface lots for oversized vehicles. Parking is priced at $25.00 USD per night, unless included in a promotion or travel benefit. For your convenience, please arrive at our loading zone located in front of Hotel Ballard’s main entrance to collect your parking pass and garage entry instructions. The main entrance is situated at 5216 Ballard Avenue NW, Seattle, WA 98107.

Please be aware that the Olympic Rooftop Pavilion is located on the 5th floor, adjacent to our Courtyard suites. Events may be held in the pavilion during your stay, so we recommend contacting the front desk prior to your visit to inquire about scheduled events or to request a room away from the event space.



In the event of a force majeure, the performance of this agreement by either party may be impacted by acts of God, government actions, disasters, strikes, civil disturbances, or other emergencies that render it illegal or impossible to provide the facilities or services for this reservation. This agreement may be terminated by written notice from either party without liability due to such circumstances.

In the unlikely event that the hotel cannot accommodate a guaranteed reservation, the hotel will provide:

• Accommodations at a comparable hotel as close as possible, at no charge for the first night of displacement.
• One complimentary round-trip ground transportation between the hotel and the alternate hotel for each day of displacement.
• An offer to relocate the displaced guest back to the first available room.

If a room becomes available and the guest opts not to return to the hotel, the hotel will have no further obligations under this clause.
